WHO ARE WE?

In 1913, a blacksmith named Ben Farber opened a small shop on Mulberry Street. Stryker has always been a small town, but business was good. Ownership was eventually passed on to Jon Baltosser, whose son Jason entered the business at only 13 years old. Jason’s two children have taken their places within the company. Today, the metal business thrives. Over the years, what once was a modest blacksmith’s wood-floored shop has evolved into a place where twisted semi trailers can be straightened, custom tool boxes and bed frames are fabricated from stock materials, farmers can have their implements repaired, and anyone can purchase metals or components for their personal projects.
